Why did you become a yoga teacher?
Honestly, I want to save lives. I want to share my passion and my energy with as many people as possible. This yoga teaches me something new about myself all the time and I want to help bring people to the yoga and strengthen the practices of people that already do the yoga. The yoga really does all the work, I teach the class and people transform. How cool is that?

Lock the knee, lock the knee, lock the knee. It took months before I really understood how to physically contract my thigh muscle to bring my knee cap up. And honestly, every class I have to set my intention and say the mantra to keep it locked. Its apart of the process, as soon as my mind slides my knee bends or my big toe comes off the floor.
